Skattebo is Gone.

Taylor is going to try and poach Richardson, Thompson, Fresques and others. Basically, gutting the program. What loyalty as we were the only school to offer him. I am starting to think college ball is as bad as professional.

Guess I will have to shift my allegiance to my other alma mater-Texas State?

Until we move away from being 'D2', it will always be a revolving door at Sac.
 
Man, we may be going back to the dark ages. I wish him the best. Gave us a hell of a lot of fantastic memories.

My hope is we can find another home run coach.

Stanford already has there new O line coach in former Sac State coach Klay Adams, so hopefully Richardson stays as new head coach.

For what it’s worth, our highest rated recruit ever, Carson Conklin, is liking Hornet Football tweets around the idea of the current staff staying mostly intact
 
LOL… I’ve found myself going through the 7 stages of grief over the past several days. Shock, denial, anger, depression, hope, etc. I think these feelings were intensified by our huge playoff game. That by itself was a lot to digest.

In the big picture, we have a great core group of players and coaches. I’m excited to see what the future holds for us and to build on our momentum.

Ulanzo Gilliam at UCD entered the portal after last season, then Hawkins talked him into staying, preserving his legacy at UCD, and that worked out pretty damn well for him this season.

You never know how things will shake out, but if I were him and I couldn’t transfer to a P5 school, I would spend the next 9 months preparing to run for 300 yards against TT and Stanford with Kaiden Bennett.

I am not sure how big of a loss that really is. He seemed to be an undisciplined player who didn't put up impressive numbers
