Re: Sears extension

I agree next year schedule is going to be tougher and challenging especially on the road. However, each road team also need to figure out a few things before next season. Most of the skill positions for Montana return including the quarterback. However they need to replace 4 of the 5 starting offens...

Re: Deflate Gate 2017

It truly does not matter who is the starting quarterback. If our defense shows up like it did last year I'm sure will see plenty of blowouts and it will give everyone an opportunity to play. The best part about this situation is that it gets me back out to the parking lot earlier to have a few more ...

Re: 2017-2018 Schedule

Another weak nonconference schedule with no big opponents on it. It looks like the toughest non-conference opponents would be Colorado St or Boise St. We do have two games at the Golden One Center..one against UC Davis and other against Portland and if I remember right the game on December 21 agains...

Re: 2017 Recruiting

Elijah Dotson from Antelope gave his verbal to Weber St and just decommitted to Weber and committed to the Hornets. With Elijah, Montaz and the RB that is transfering from Duke Joseph Ajeigbe(3 star out of HS) there will be some nice running backs in the program....Go Hornets!!

Re: 2017 Recruiting

Montaz Thompson RB from Pittsburg HS has committed to the Hornets. He had 28 TD his senior year. Total rushing yards over 1600. Looks like a nice catch

Re: 2017 Recruiting

Stone Smart already committed to NAU which is understandable as we have 7 or 8 QB on our roster which includes the new recruits. It is possible a QB on the current roster has left the program(not sure). Hopefully one of these QB can step up. Parker has recd 3 offers not sure if he has made a decision.

Cousins Montell and DaRon Bland commit to Causeway Classic rivals. DaRon is going to Sac State. It looks like DaRon has some speed and height to play DB. Re: Big Cat is Back!

Troy Taylor just took over as the OC for Utah. This is a nice stepping stone for a potential head-coaching job as we all see there is a potential for an opening at Sac State at the end of next season. One can only dream of what he can bring to this program.

Re: Head Coach Situation

It appears that Davis did not waste any time by firng their head coach. On the other hand, our head coach Jody Sears has been a head coach for 5 years(between Sac St and Weber St) and only had one season in which he won more than 2 games. Had a defense that was horrible by giving up 44 points per ga...

Re: Head Coach Situation

This team has been unprepared all season long. Players on this team have been put in positions where they can't make plays which is a reflection of bad coaching. I don't see it being any different the last 2 games. So why wait until a day after the causeway, just move on from this coaching staff rig...

9 Game Conference Schedule Starting 2020

Interesting that there is going to be uneven number of home and away games...so I'm assuming that every other year we would have 5 conference home games. In 2020, we already have San Diego State and Washington on our schedule… so we might only have four home games that year. http://missoulian.com/sp...

Re: Head Coach Situation

Any coach that has a pulse would be a better situation than what we have right now..I just don't understand how a coach can lose to a Division II school and get blown out against conference opponents and still have a job. Shoot,Les Miles won a national championship and was competitive year in and ye...

Re: Sacramento St. vs North Dakota

I'm more pissed that I had to pay to watch that pathetic performance. This coaching staff is completely lost and have no clue how to prepare kids for games. It was the same complaint Weber St fans had about Sears. It's time to move on from this joke of a coaching staff. The sad part is that North Da...
