• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

2022 Baseball

Congrats Coach C and the team!
They showed alot of moxie this year with injuries and come from behind wins.
30 wins every year for the past decade is an achievement to be recognized.

WACT Game 1: 1-2 loss. Hornets lose a pitching duel to one of the best pitchers in the WAC. Saul gets his first loss of the season. Hornets had chances late but couldn't get a clutch hit. Hornets will play the loser of the NMSU - SHSU game at 9 AM tomorrow.

WACT Game 4: 3-2 Hornet win. Hornets eliminate the top team from the Southwest division, Sam Houston State, and move on to play another day. Hornets got some early runs and the Hornet pitching came through in the clutch to preserve the win.

Hornets play the loser of the NMSU - UTRGV at 9 AM tomorrow.

Edit: NMSU mercy ruled UTRGV 10-0 in 7. NMSU, who finished 2nd to last in the West division, is playing the role of Cinderella in this tournament. Hornets get UTRGV.

WACT Game 9: 9-5 Hornets win. Hornet bats come alive and exact some revenge for last year’s WACT elimination loss to UTRGV. The Hornets have bounced the Texas contingent from their bracket.

Hornets face a surging NMSU at 4 PM.

WACT Game 11: 3-7 Hornet loss to NMSU. NMSU bats stayed hot and jumped on Hornet pitching early. Hornet bats couldn't come through when the opportunities were there.

Hornets finish the season 32-26 (19-15 WAC). Some of the core players we got to enjoy watching these past few years will be gone next year, but there is a lot of young talent on this roster. Need to see some breakthroughs on the pitching staff to be a contender next season. In Christiansen we trust.

Stingers Up!
