Re: Gameday Experience

It got to the point in the second half where there were women coming into the men's restroom. One would think that with homecoming, a highly ranked Montana team and a ranked Sac team that those in charge would expect a large crowd. This restroom issue has been a hot mess for way too long. Do somethi...

Re: 2019 Recruiting

Hornets just got a commitment from Jake Dunniway a QB from San Diego Mesa JC. He committed out of high school to Davis but transfer after his freshman season. He played at St Mary high school. It looks to be a solid catch as he had a pretty good freshman season at the JC. From his highlights he loo...

Re: 2019 Spring Camp

Medeiros looked good. Kicked several through from over 50 yards. Second kicker not bad but ball coming out way too low. Punter did not kick a typical spiral kick, but more of a rugby style but with good hangtime, distance and placement.

Re: 2019 Spring Camp

Attended practice today and there is a punter and an extra kicker, niether of which are shown on the roster. Practice appeared to be crisp and well run with both Thomson and Ale looking sharp.

Re: 2019 Spring Camp

It doesn't specifically say, but is Saturday, April 27 your Spring Game? One could assume that since it's the last day of spring camp that it would be the game or some semblance of a game. A couple of other questions. There is no punter shown on the roster. Anyone know if there is a punter in camp?...

Re: Andy Avalos Names Oregon’s DC

Actually, Howard Mudd is not the offensive line coach for the Colts. Chris Strausser replaced him and brought Adams in as an assistant. As I stated in my original post, Adams played for Strausser at Boise State. All true, however, Mudd is the Senior Offensive assistant that is working with both Str...

Re: Andy Avalos Names Oregon’s DC

Klayton Adams has been fired at Colorado...it happened months ago. He recently accepted an entry-level position with the Colts assisting his old offensive line coach from his days as a player at Boise State. The best part for coach Adams is that he's learning from Howard Mudd, one of the best teach...

Re: 2019 Offers

Hard to beleive we have no information on signings on early signing day. If Mr. Orr wants to promote this program, there needs to be at least some information put out regarding the football program.

Re: Troy Taylor Named Head Coach

If anyone didn't get a chance to see or hear it, here's Coach Taylor's introductory PC. After watching it, I can tell you that I'm excited for next season and beyond! https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=5&v=1A_K3maQJvE I agree 100% on this. Wants to keep everone else in the league on their ...

Did I hear correctly that Taylor negotiated an
8 year contract, guaranteed?! Lol

Anyone know contract details?
I did hear that he got his buyout from Utah so that helps with his total salary. He's also reached out to other Pac12 staff to come here and make things happen.

Re: Sears Fired

There could be some extenuating circumstances that would bring Taylor back to California. Perhaps he's unhappy in Utah, doesn't like the weather, or whatever, and is willing to take a pay cut to get back here. If Orr can promise and deliver on what he sounds like he wants, Taylor just might jump at ...

Re: Sears Fired

Good group of candidates. Finally! I, too, would put Taylor at the top of the list, simply because of his background playing the game and teaching QB's. Don't know avbout his recruiting ability and background. Adams would be second for me with what SDHornet said and his recruiting experience in Cali...

Re: Sears Fired

Yes. To me? GL? Or Both? Likelihood of selection in my uneducated opinion: 1. Osterhout - salary is in range, nationally JC power... 2. Arbet - would Arena success transfer over? Obvious leader. 3. McClure - undoubtedly everyone’s #1, but will be sacrifice salary for the Big Chair, and a chance to ...

Three ex-Hornets interviewed yesterday.
Do we have any idea what the school is offering in compensation for the head coach position and the assistant pool?

2019 recruiting

The Hornets picked up a commitment from another Washington recruit. A 3 star receiver by the name of Xavier Mason from Tacoma. 6' and 188 lbs. Hopefully he honors his commitment and signs in December.
