2022 Spring Football
Do any of you local Greeley people ever check out the Spring football progress? We don't get much information other than a photo or two on facebook or twitter. I am curious how the new quarterbacks look especially the transfer Jacob Sirmon. I see he was a 4 star recruit that played at Washington and...

Re: 30 players have left..will we have a team in '22?
It's just relentless toxic bad news with this program... I don't doubt any of this but how can one university consistently be this terrible at producing a football program... they must be trying... and why I won't buy a ESPN+ subscription... I understand why you are upset with the football loses la...

Re: 30 players have left..will we have a team in '22?
I think you guys who think it is a bad thing to have players leave the program should consider the fact that most of these transfers are taking advantage of the portal to get a chance to play football at a higher or lower level without having to sit out a year. l checked the 24-7 sports link https:/...

Re: Another Tribune Article on Ed - Huge Red Flags
It seems to me it's just a bunch of guys that were starters or intrenched players on a losing program that got replaced by better players and are now upset about losing their spot. I get that, but why stoop to bad mouthing the program and just move on to some other program. Looks like most of these ...

Re: Northern Colorado Vs. Montana
Montana fans are the Nebraska fans of the FCS, every year is 1995 or 2001! That being said their fans will probably outnumber ours 2-1. The last time I went to Montana at Nottingham it was embarrassing how much Maroon was there. Here are some funny comments from Montana fans on their board. "A...

Re: 2021-22 Men's Schedule
Does anyone know the outcome of the exhibition basketball game with CSUP last night? We should have won except CSUP always find a way to beat us at these kinds of games. Like at the football game a few years back.

Re: Fire Ed
There are 128 FCS football teams and we got beat by 2 teams in the top 10 and play another in the top 15 this week. I don't think anyone would give you very good odds of winning those games. Our team has been playing with less than full strength due to Covid rules and it is no wonder they are not be...

Re: Houston Baptist Predictions
After watching the CU game it is obvious the team needs to get better at running the ball. CU looked really good at the run defense so maybe we will look better with another FCS team. I liked the way the team played hard the whole game and didn't give up. I also watched the Montana game and they loo...

Re: Offensive Coordinator
Who really cares who is related to whom if the job is getting done? Would be upset if Archie Manning was head coach, Peyton Manning was his assistant coach and Eli Manning was playing for us and Peyton's wife got the plane tickets and we won a lot more games than with the previous coaching staff? I...

Re: Offensive Coordinator
I thnk Max will be OK as our offensive coordinator. He does lack experience at that position,, but he does have the ability to work closely with the head coach who probably will be making most of the offensive decisions anyway. That is probably why coach Baldwin left the program at the last moment b...

Re: Welcome Jerry Schemmel! New voice of the Bears!
This is surprisingly good news. How could KFKA afford him when they couldn't afford Troy? Also, what happened to the guy they brought in to replace Troy? Looks like Jason Alvine is now with the Women's basketball team. https://uncbears.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/coaches/jason-alvine/790

Early team outlook
If you want to view a good preview of the positions on the team this year check out the analysis by Aaron Rath's radio podcast. It's nice to see some interest on the team this Summer. Looking forward to getting some wins this year after so many losing seasons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wSSYhM...

Re: Fire Ed
Two words. Fire him. Ed McCaffrey should be gone before he ever coaches a game. He isn't the right person for the job and as an alumni, I wouldn't send my son to play for him. To start, his own kids live in the transfer portal. What happened to the days of "Work hard and figure it out". I...

Re: Coaching Carousel
Does it seem strange to anyone that we have not posted a replacement for the team's offensive coordinator yet? It would appear that they would want someone to be in the position to bring in a new playbook and philosophy to the team as early as possible so that the players have something to study and...

Re: Coaching Carousel
It must be hard to find someone at this late in the program to take over as offensive coordinator. They have been working on trying to set up a system and then at the last moment they might have to start from square one again. Is there anyone on the current staff that could continue with the offense...
