Did anyone read the Trib Story on UNC ATHLETICS in Sundays paper ?? I thought the story in itself was a true depiction of where we have been, where we are at and where we are heading. We are not CU or CSU and should not be compared to them. We are in the Big Sky conference and we compete and compare with those schools and that's the way it should be. But if you also read the Trib Editorial you get the feeling that The Greeley Tribune is trying to stir the pot or it was written by a bunch of morons ! What do others think of the story and editorial ??
 
For the most part I thought the articles were pretty good. Yet, no interview from anyone on the football staff. Also interesting to know there are whispers of a new multi-sport arena. Get some naming rights and this can be built! Would football then be played in a dome? Like what NAU and ISU do?

I didn't like the editorial because it's unrealistic. Yes, football has struggle but it won't get cut.
 
Google: does UNC spend too much on division 1 athletics and you should get the entire story ! Would like to hear what you think !
