Traveling Trophy w/ Northern Arizona

Wouldn't it be sweet if we could just manufacture a battle of the Northerns rivalry game each year with Northern Arizona. A traveling trophy would be a pretty fun thing to have on the schedule each year. I wonder how you would even get the idea presented to the higher ups? Anyone have Coach Lamb's email?
 
I almost feel like we need a natural rivalry and I don't think we have been good enough to develop that. I kind of thought we had one going with Weber State then we fell off a cliff.
 
Makes sense. I believe NAU started out as a teacher’s college much like UNC.

I attended an away game in Flag when the Bears played there about 4 years ago. It was pretty cool. Flagstaff is a neat college town. We had a pretty good showing of Bears fans and I think we have a lot of alumni in that area. The Pride of the Rockies came along for the game too. It makes too much sense for it to happen though…UNC does not operate that way.
