• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

John Smith...

Just as an FYI, when he started, Athletics and Kinesiology were one department, so he was classified as faculty because he taught courses in addition to coaching. He is tenured and the only way for him to leave is retirement.

I agree with everything Phantom says. With all of the talent in this area, we should be able to put a consistently good squad together. When i was at Sac State in the early '90s, I remember talking to numerous players who made these exact comments regarding his recruiting efforts. I bet someone like Andy McKay from Sac City could put together a hell of a team.

Time for a change.

Even if Smith does have tenure, he can be reassigned within the athletic department and we can get a new coach. I hope that day comes sooner than later.

I see all these other Cal State schools with winning baseball programs and here we are, in a talent rich area and we aren't even 500?
