    We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

    With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Interesting Bit of Hornet History

I was looking up stuff on retired UOP basketball coach Bob Thomason for the purpose of nominating him for the UOP Hall of Fame, when I found out that he was the inaugural winner of the Hugh Durham Award for Mid-Major Coach of the Year in 2005. When I saw the list, I noticed that in 2015, the award was given to our very own Brian Katz. That was a bit of a surprise. SDHornet, our own resident guru of everything Hornet, noted this in his 2014-2015 season review, but I'd forgotten.

It's very cool to see valley schools getting recognition, and I hope to see Katz get it again next year, and that would be something because only Drake has won the award twice, and no one coach has won it more than once.
