• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

ISU Men's Basketball tweeted that 6'7" Chidi Udengwu from San Bernardino Valley College is a Bengal...

Well this is definitely a curve ball. Looking at his video and his stats, it looks like Chidi is a "point forward" type. He doesn't shoot threes (only took one all year), but averaged 5 assists per game. He's skinny, looks like a 2 or 3, but has good handles and you've got to like that 7 rebound a game average. He shot 62 percent from the field, and took more free throw attempts than field goals. Had a terrific assist-to-turnover ratio (2.7). He'll definitely give ISU some versatility.

So what does this mean for the rest of the roster? Does it mean Legardy is likely not going to qualify? Or does it mean Ingram's appeal has been denied? It certainly looks like the roster is now full, but maybe somebody else is leaving. Stay tuned, it will be interesting to see how all this plays out.

One thing it does indicate is that "small ball" is definitely going to be the flavor of the day for the Bengals next year. There really are no "back to the basket" players on the roster, and no traditional post defenders.

Goes back to what Coach Evans said in a interview last year (we need better athletes) more versatile players.

Love that seven a game rebounding average. Sure hope he works out better than the last San Bernardino guys. Marcus Bradley and Evan hall were busts. But love his passing as well.
