• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

This one was a few weeks back, but also a high quality RB. The future is bright

HUGE gets. Also shows us that the RB position needs a shot in the arm. Kinikini is such a versatile athlete. He could come in and play a few positions. Not sure, but I'm assuming he might be a mission kid? Really hope the coaches are spending a lot of time in Utah. So much talent in the state right now. Hoping to see 2 to 4 OL in the early signing period.

Early signing period is over and We have signed 9 HS players. We also have a punter committed, a walk on 3* transfer WR, and a 3* OL transfer committed. Of the HS players one is a 3* lb, one is a 3* WR, two are 3* RBs, and one is a 3* DB with 4.3 speed. The rest are highly reguarded and heavily recruited players. This is the most we have ever signed in the early period. We will likely sign 15 to 20 players in February.

Between now and February we will be looking at transfer players and HS players who may have been overlooked in the early signing period. In the past several years we have done well with this recruiting strategy.

The WRs we have brought in will replace those we lost. That room should look quite similar to last season. The 3 RBs we have brought in look to have great potential and will solidify the needed depth in that room. The LB we brought in from Northridge High looks to have really good potential and likewise the DE from Sugar City, Idaho. The DBs we have signed all look like they can help the depth in that room and a couple of them may compete for good minutes.

For February's signing, I think we will see an emphasis on OLs, DLs, DBs, LBs, and TEs. All of those positions need to be fortified and have depth built.

As long as all of our QBs come back, we should be okay there. However, we may see a HS QB brought in for the future. You always need 4 or 5 in that room.

I also expect to see another large contingent of walk on players.

What happens between now and July will determine how next fall will go. It's all about getting the players and developing them.

Not sure how to properly post a tweet but we have a commitment from Akron QB Dijon Jennings.

He was a 3* dual threat QB coming out of HS. He should have 3 years left to play. He is a good enough athlete to play multiple positions. On O, I could see him as a QB, a WR, or a RB. On D, he could be a CB or a S. He could be a holder for kicks or play in the return game. He is an athlete. He is the sort of transfer that you would want to get. Our most recent All American kick returner came out of HS as a duel threat QB. You never know how these things might work out.

We are now less than a month from the regular signing period for football. I expect that the emphasis is still on getting quality HS players. Although, there could be a transfer or two that could help us.

Here is a JC transfer OLB/DE
His play is similar to Kelley's, has some quickness and toughness.
