Saturday, Game 1: 9-4 win. Hornets blow a back-and-forth game wide open with a 4-run 4th inning. Gonzalez drove in 3 runs in the game.
Saturday, Game 2: 10-5 win. Adams gets roughed up by DSU for all 5 of their runs but the Hornet bullpen goes 4.2 innings without giving up a run. 4 Hornets have 2 RBIs each including Dorraugh who went 4 for 4 on the day.
Sunday: 5-7 loss. DSU ends the Hornets 8 game winning streak by winning a back-and-forth contest with some late runs. The Trailblazers bullpen shutouts the Hornets in the final 3 innings of the game.
Monday: 3-2 win. Hornet pitching gives up a couple of runs to the Cardinal in the 2nd inning but shuts them out the rest of the way only giving up 3 hits over the final 7 innings. Smith drove in all 3 Hornet runs with 2 coming off of a double in the 7th and the walk off on a single in the 9th.
Hornets head to Omaha for a 4-game set against Creighton (6-7) this weekend.

I ask only because in all my softball leagues, it's been ten after five....
