• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

The Hornet tennis programs are back and in full force again in 2015 with the women at 4-0 so far in Big Sky play and the men at 2-0 in Big Sky.

Both teams will expect to take care of business in the Big Sky in between taking on nationally ranked competition out of conference.

Our most dominate sports program is back again for another conference title run with all other Big Sky schools
chasing the Hornets.

Go Hornets!!

Sac State Pride.

Hornet men get back on track by dusting Eastern Wash. 6-1 today after a rare Big Sky loss 4-3 to the recycled Big Sky Vandals of Idaho.

Back on track Hornets

Most all Big Sky matches remain in Sacramento!!!

Bring it on Hornets and keep the Big Sky crown in Sac.

In typical Sac State fashion, the Hornets take on not one, but two, Big Sky teams in one day and dominate them 7-0. The Hornet women down both North Dakota and Northern Colorado 7-0. Hornet women move to 6-0 in big Sky play will all remaining Big Sky match ups at home on the way to the Big Sky tourney where the Hornets , like, never lose.

And the men are currently 5-1 in Big Sky play and should be in good standing come tourney time and and shooting for another Big Sky title as well.

So amazing that no other Big Sky tennis program does what Sac State does. Taking on two Big Sky teams in regular season play in one day. And typically winning both match ups. And in the process saving travel money for the athletic dept. at Sac State and at other Big Sky schools. Who does this? Sac State does....truly amazing and something to be recognized as a source of Hornet Pride.

Hornet women take down both Montana schools in a matter of hours yesterday at home to go 8-0 and close in on yet another Big Sky title.

Men stumble up in Montana by one point both days but will be in the mix for sure in Big Sky tourney time.

Both Hornet teams win today at home against NAU and ISU in typically Sac State fashion by taking on two Big Sky opponents merely hours apart on the same day (like no other big Sky school does).

The Hornet women move to a perfect 10-0 in Big Sky and the men move to 7-3. One more Big Sky match for both teams before the BSC tourney the last week of this month hosted by Sac State.
\
The women will come to the tourney as regular season champs and the men close to the top of the Big sky. Both will shoot yet again for a Big Sky tourney championship and an NCAA tourney bid.

All is well with the Hornet tennis program as it has been for over a decade and then some.

Amazing program at Sac State that continues to shine year after year after year.

And the tennis program saves a bundle in travel costs often playing two Big Sky opponents in one day home or on the road. Noticed that even though Idaho State and Northern Arizona where both in Sac today taking on the Hornets they did not play each other. Only the Hornets took on both other Big Sky schools today. NAU and ISU only played one match against the Hornet teams and faced each other earlier this year on trips that cost their schools extra travel cost. Our excellent Hornet tennis teams deserve even more kudos for saving our school travel costs by often taking on two Big Sky opponents on the road in one day. And even when in town the Hornets save the athletic dept. money when taking on two teams in the same day at off campus facilities that we need to rent.

The women finish a perfect undefeated Big Sky regular season today for the 13th time in 19 years in the Big Sky by stomping Weber State. A match at Cal later this week before hosting the Big Sky tourney in Sac the last weekend of April, a tourney that the Hornets have dominated and captured most of the entire history of Sac State being in the big Sky Conf.

Congratulations yet again for the Hornets being regular season Big Sky champs!!!

And count on the Hornet men in tennis during the Big Sky tourney to capture another crown. all of their defeats have been on the road in Big Sky play by 1 point. The hornets will bring it home at home.!!! The Hornet tennis teams normally save their best play for the Big Sky tourney.

Hornet women tennis beats northern Arizona 4-0 today to move into the title match up in the Big Sky tourney championships against Idaho tomorrow. Sac beat the Vandels 5-4 on the road earlier this season and will be ready to defend their amazing stretch of Big Sky titles tomorrow and win another trophy for the Hornet trophy case already busting out with tennis titles.

Good luck tomorrow Hornets against a very good new conference foe in the Uni. of Idaho who had been the tops in the WAC.

And congrats to the Hornet men tennis team who fell yet again by one match in the tourney. they will be back next year with most of the Big Sky matches at home!!

Hornets fight til the last match and go down to Idaho and end 13 years of Big Sky titles. The entire team is back next year and will be ready to get the Big Sky title and another trophy back in a trophy case stuffed with tennis trophies on campus.
