• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

The women beat MSU in the 4x400 relay (just like indoor  ) to take home the title, men tie NAU for the title. T&F continues to dominate the BSC.

CHENEY, Wash. — The Sacramento State women finished first and the men tied for the top spot In one of the most climatic finishes in the history of the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Eastern Washington.

Both track teams win today to claim yet again Big Sky titles at the EWU stadium.

Our women relay team ran past Montana State in the final event at the finish line to win the title and the men tied the NAU lumberjacks with their always amazing long distant runners to share the title. Hard to get past the Jacks but the Hornets do find a way.

A sweep by our Hornet track program that is always in the mix for the title every year for the past decade.

Congratulations to both teams!!!

And believe both teams are young teams with most returning next year. But whether the Hornets are a young team or a veteran team they find a way to come thru and bring home a trophy to 6,000 J Street, a trophy case that is filled with Big Sky trophies.

Keep it up Sac State track!!

Nice to get two Big Sky titles on the final day of the Big Sky sports year.

Add this title to the Big Sky title won by our women Indoor Track and the regular season title for our women's tennis team and the trophies are complete for another BSC year.

Very close to titles in

Basketball (both men and women) runner up by 1 game.
Softball - runner up
Golf (both men and women runner up)
Football- winning season and perhaps 1 win shy of FCS playoffs

Women's soccer and men's tennis fell short of a winning season but both programs can easily turn many narrow losses into wins next year.

And hopefully the long suffering volleyball program can somehow not suffer so much.

And not sure about cross country but believe the two teams have been improving.

Sac State is very competitive in the Big Sky and 2015-16 should be another good year for the Hornets

Not surprised to see the Sacramento state women win yet another Big Sky All Sports title-the 5th in the past 8 years it was announced today. The Sac State women sport teams are tops in the Big Sky!!

and the Hornet men finish 4th this year in all sports in the Big Sky, just a few points out of the 2nd place spot.

Men and women combined, Sac State finished yet again in the top 3 Big Sky teams for the All Around Big Sky sports trophy as the Hornets do year after year. The Hornets finished 2nd this year.

Keep it up Hornets and continue to be the top or one of the top two or three Big Sky all sports programs year after year!!

Congratulations to Coach Raske for her 12th Big Sky Coach of the Year Award!! Amazed that she did not capture the award for both track teams (women and men). Who wins both men and women Big Sky titles so many times. Our Coach Raske. We are so lucky to have such an outstanding coach!!!
