WBB Schedule change

I haven't seen any announcement of this but there have been 2 changes to the women's basketball schedule since it was first announced.

The changes move the dates of both games against Weber.

ISU will host WSU on Feb. 23 rather than Jan. 21. The Bengals will travel to WSU on Jan. 10 rather than March 4.

The net effect is that ISU will play 6 games in 15 days to open the league season and have a more traditional Thursday & Saturday schedule on Feb. 21 & 23. The big benefit is that the women won't have to play a third road game the week before the tournament as March 4 is now an open date.

I don't know whether this was a change from the league or if the ISU and WSU athletic directors worked this out on their own. Either way, it will reduce the fatigue factor headed into the Big Sky Tournament - which is a good thing for the ISU women!
