How would you rank the various Bengal athletic programs over the past decade using criteria such as:
Number of Big Sky Team Championships won.
Percent of squad size or team that was named All Big Sky Conference.
Percent of squad size or team that was named All Academic Big Sky.
NCAA Championship tournament participation on a team level or individual level.
Combine these variables and rank the programs top to bottom. Or perhaps there are some other variables that should be included???
Also, given this ranking, which program has had the greatest success versus the budget allocated to them over the past decade? In other words, which program has made the best use of their money to deliver athletic and academic success?
Of course, I recognize that a successful football and/or basketball program can greatly impact a university in terms of fundraising, ticket sales, school enrollment, school apparel sales, ect and therefore return on investment of these two programs is a little more difficult to measure.
This is just a fun little exercise and perhaps some avid Bengal fans will have some interesting input to this question!
