WOW! That's terrific news. Well deserved given the accomplishments of the program the past 10 years despite the inherent handicaps of having to play money games and not being able to get a lot of home games.

To the best of my knowledge NO COACH has ever been offered a five year deal at ISU in any sport. Could be wrong about that though. Maybe Jerry or Brad can fill us in with that.

Exciting news. This provides stability moving forward and I really look forward to seeing where the program goes the next five years.

Congrats to Seton, his staff and players. Looking forward to another fun 5 years.

PS--Was just looking at the incentives in Seton's contract, of interest: he will get a $3,500 bonus if ISU wins 20 games in a season, and he gets 3 percent of the take from all money games, or 5 percent if ISU wins. There are numerous other incentives related to APR, etc, which could take his contract to $227,000 if all were achieved.

More stability for a very successful program.
