    We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

    With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Coaching hire

I saw something on Twitter that eluded to that, but the name that was thrown out makes me think it was BS.

I don’t think it’s going to be an internal hire. There isn’t anyone who’s an obvious up and comer the way it was with Hayford and Leggins.
 
I highly doubt we go internal for this hire, but we will see. Based on all the info the AD is putting out there, it seems its been a pretty good search, nationwide.
 
Agreed. I think he’s trying to be as transparent as he can be in the process while maintaining the integrity of the process.
 
Read an article in the SR about Dan Monson as a possible hire. Man, that’d be a hire to get excited about.
 
I have heard this from multiple people as well. He's from this area, has a property in this area, and has strong ties to the area. Media loves him, which would mean more local media coverage (hopefully). Wouldn't be surprised if he's at Mark Few's house right now!

Maybe. But Spectator’s right. There’s a lot of factors in play that could lure him here. He has ties to the area. More importantly, he doesn’t have a job at the moment. What remains to be seen is if EWU could get him to agree to come. I’m sure he has other offers out there and jobs he’s interviewing for.
