Okay, after compiling info from different sources, I'm 99% sure this will be our schedule next season....

Highlights:
-5 home games, 6 if you include the Causeway.
-2 winnable FCS non-conference games
-1 FBS game is winnable, and will be emotional vs. Troy Taylor and Co on 9/16/23
-Miss Weber and EWU
-Kadeezy's guess, 7-4, first round playoff game

9/9 - vs. Texas A&M Commerce

9/16 - @ Stanford

9/23 - @ Idaho

9/30 - vs. Northern Arizona

10/7 - BYE WEEK

10/14 - @ Northern Colorado

What is the QB room going to look like next year? I think that will go a long way in determining how good this team will be.

If everything holds, we’ll have:

1. Kaiden Bennett (RS Jr.)
2. Dorian Hale (RS So.)
3. Carson Conklin (FR)

I had heard rumors of Hale moving to WR or RB, but nothing solid yet. At a minimum, this team needs to recruit at least two more QBs in my opinion. Maybe a Transfer and another HS kid.

Agreed. At a minimum we should remain a BSC title and playoff contender. The key returners are on the offensive line, as it looks now 4 of 5 starters return.

A fun sidebar comparison is the schedule for small D2 Lincoln University (Oakland, CA). They just finished their second year of football. ALL of their 2022 games were away and none in CA. They traveled all over the US, including OR, NY, TX, UT, MI, and more. Now that's a passion for travel.

Come on, K. I agree with you on Stanford (though they're vulnerable) and the Griz are always tough. But do you really think we're going to lose to Idalol? Last year was a fluke for them. While we both have the Kitties as a Hornet win, one would have to think that they're a more likely loss than Idalol....
 
Per Sac State FB Page, the season opener against Nicholls State has been moved to THU 31 AUG 23.
