Dallas got 8 or 9 rebounds last night, a career high. Has anyone beside me noticed that he rarely gets a rebound anywhere near the rim? Doesn't seem to have any spring in his jump. Has the same issue when he tries to score in close. Gets blocked very often because he can't seem to get off the ground. He was blocked twice in last nights game even though he had inside position on a "close at you can get" lay-in because he couldn't get even to the rim much less above and over it. If he is ever going to be a force he has to put on some weight (I doubt that he weighs anywhere near the 220 he is listed at), build some spring and develop some muscle. I hope the coaching staff has him on a weight gain, build strength and explosion workout and diet regimen. He could be very good if he develops these areas.

We'll he is a freshman. Even Bolomboy was awkward when he started playing as a freshman. I say give him time to grow and mature as a DI player. It seems you're holding him to pretty high expectations for a freshman

Agreed, although he doesn't have the same athleticism as Joel did as a freshman (very few do). Dallas is a little more dough-ey in his physique, which will change as he gets older. Honestly, he reminds me a lot of a young David Patten.

Only real gripe with the kid now is his hesitation. Yes he's young and I'm willing to give him time. but someone needs to tell this 6'11 kid to dunk the ball and go to the hoop a little more aggressively.

True, he needs to get some more confidence.
