I wonder if this puts us ahead of them in the conference standings by the end of the year. THeir AD made a horrible choice about the timing of the coaching changes. They made a move with about 3 months to go until opening kick off. That puts the new coach is a horrible spot. He wasn't even there dur...

I think they liked Van whatever and Lennon but both reportedly turned down the job.

Nice to see some of our future Bears play togethor. Dylan Orms had a so-so game. Threw a couple bad balls but he's got good scrambling abilities. Will need to work on his accuracy. Dan Freismith looked good too. He's a big kid and ran the ball well for a full back.

I would be suprised if he ended up here, but it would be cool. I'm sure he'll end up at Stanford.

I know Jack Elway hasn't signed a LOI, but he's got a few offers from 1A schools. I've heard he's not good enough to play 1A and his talents are more suited for our level or maybe even d2. He's just got the name. That would be cool if we got John's kid to play here.

I wish Medved would have stuck around just because he's dad is owner of the one of the largest car dealerships in Colorado. That's a lot of money we could have had pumped into the program. But the kid just seemed too small, slow to play at this level. Oh well.

Who's going to play fullback? I don't like to see anyone leave the team, but the ones I think we will miss of course is Wiedeman and Ealy. Bauer doesn't suprise me because his pt was starting to go down as the season was going. I am teacher, so I've got the entire summer off and plenty of time so ma...

we know of Ealy and Wiedeman leaving, also I did notice Thomas Bauer and Chris Medved were not on the roster I got at the spring game.

I'm a Scott Downing fan, and thats why I'm on here, I feel bad for the guy, he had everything, now in order to build his resume he has to go all the way back to square one, I want the bears to have success for him and his families sake I just don't see a bright future.[/img] Maybe you don't underst...

He'll get better too as a coach. I'm sure last season was a learning experience for him.

BTW, Bearsfan...not, why are you on this board? It's for Bears fans or people that have an interest in the program. So...get lost.

CU was probably in a lot worse shape then us. They had a lot more scandles and had a lot more declining donor money. However, the new guy might have a point. Downing is a positive person but I'm sure at the end of the season he was just shaking is head and askign himself "what the hell did I get mys...

I just hope it's not a buch of talk and doesn't turn into action. It benefits both the city and the university of their in it together. Greeley should be proud of UNC not shun it like they usually do. Selders is saying all the right things, hopefully it's not just BS.

Here's an email response I got back from Mayor Tom Selders regarding UNC and Greeley. I basically said in my email that I have been disapointed about the City and it's lack of support for the university. His response was good and hopefully everythign he says will come about. My apologies for taking ...

You've got a point Jars. MSU played Chardrone right after they beat Colorado, so naturally they were a little overconfident. The key to the game on offense is to strike early and often, so they have to pass more and not use Woodhead so much. The bright side to the game?! We might be able to watch th...

Birkel would probaby be starting for the Corn if he didn't hate Callahan so much. If he's knee is ok and he had his speed he did two years ago, your db's are going to have a tuff time keeping up with him. All this smack talk is getting me excited for some football...it's only May! Can't we skip base...

Hence I said "in our prime" Obviously we're not in our prime. No fan here is denying that. We've got a proud history here at UNC, these past few years have been our down time. Every program has to rebuild and it's too bad we had to rebuild during transition years which makes it even harder. We had ...

I doubt that very much. In our prime we would have beaten a lot of 1A teams.
