I like what the new Air Force coach said. There is a lot of respect coming from that man. "You look at Northern Colorado, they have a great tradition there," Calhoun said. "They are fortunate now to have a fine coach in Scott Downing. He is a guy with great vision, great energy and is just a great h...

Preseason conference picks

Football's right around the corner. Here's my picks for how the conference will end up. 1. Montana - Too much talent even with off the field problems. 2. PSU- Solid group coming back, good coaching staff. 3. NAU- Offensive fire power. 4. WSU - Transfer QB from Alabama may make a difference. 5. ISU -...

jjj is right, most people in Portland couldn't care less about the Vikings. I've been to Portland several times, love the city but honestly never met a Viking fan. Plenty of Ducks and Beaver fans, but never met a Viking fan.

We own the series between us and SDSU, but NDSU owns the series between us. Although I think UNC has beaten NDSU more the past 10 years. SDSU is more of a basketball school. They've done fairly well sense moving up, but they've never won a football national championship and have only been in the pla...

So you're saying he doesn't show up on time or work out with the team and isn't much of a leader? If so, let's move on, he isn't good enough to pull the prima donna crap. After what I saw last year out of him I'd only feel comfortable with him starting again if we had heard about how hard he was wo...

I'd love to find a hat with the NC logo on it. I have money burning a hole in my pocket that I'd just love to give the university for a hat. I talked to a lady at the campus book store and she said they're going to get the new "NC" hats in about a month and that was about a month ago, so I might st...

Joe started out as an assistant here at UNC, the promoted head coach. All in all I think he spent about 17 seasons as a UNC coach either as head coach or assistant. He loves Greeley and I can see where a person would like Greeley more then Missoula Mt or Laramie Wyoming. Of course if you ask him he ...

I think it will be good to just have someone focus on coaching the QB's. If he's a good coach it will only benifit the program. I don't know how he's going to coach Braezaele how to not throw interceptions and if he does, call him a miracle worker. Yeah, good point. Is that chick that taught Helen ...

Yes. Brian Natkin left to be closer to his family, that is true. The New offensive line coach will be Dennis Darnell the offensive Coordinator. They have hired a Quarterback Coach, though who it is, i don't presently feel privileged enough to say. So is Darnell still going to call the plays? I was ...

New Offensive Line Coach?

Brian Natkin left for Texas to be closer to family so it left the staff short handed for the high school team camps. I heard we have a new coach already. Does anyone know the details?

You might want to wait on your period. Chadrock - it looks like you will have a nice squad this year and I wish you luck in every game except this one next year. I stand by my period though - I don't think you are going to come into Greeley and win. The staff knows that would devastate the Bears se...

Re: Eastern

Eastern is looking for a new men's basketball coach and new athletic director with the NCAA sniffing around. The Spokane paper reported Burns was involved with improper $$$ issues related to a player whose dad was on the EWU staff. I'm really surprised hearing this and also the news out of Montana....
