• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Well for watching that entire game, felt it only right that I:

Listen to Lucky's Deadrush music vid in it's entierty (actually enjoyed it)

Then farted and felt like a million bucks...all is right in the world

I don't know what it is but I like that song too. Video doesn't do it justice. Going to try a day of 528 hz to clear the system of this game but I think the flagellation, McCallan's, massage and farting might be just as effective

Holy shit, our defense is terrible. I don't mean "bad," I mean terrible. This team has a lot of guys who aren't D1 football players. No speed, no toughness, poorly coached, all of the above. And soft as hell.

I have been a Best supporter... I like the guy. But it's time for the AD to have some tough conversations. The D is bad or worse than simply bad every year. We can't trot out the same defensive coaches who have no concept of how to stop the run another season and expect something different. For Best to keep his job, he needs to have a plan to restaff the defense and show marked improvement. Even though the D looked like they may take a step forward this year, the drop-off is astounding. The softness creeps in, guys aren't tough enough to gut through a season, and we just fall apart as the season goes on. Tackling is Gawd awful. And sometimes we can't even catch up to a ball carrier to miss a tackle due to being too slow.

Was going to let it go but the selective memory you display rivals my own Dopa. I can't forgive the numerous poor decisions Aaron puts the team in game after game. He doesn't need to retool, he needs to go. Yes, I prefer uncertainly to mire. Aaron is the mire.

One thing to note is that well coached teams seem to show improvement over the course of the year. Taking a bad loss early can happen to anyone. Eastern seems to get incrementally worse from game to game. For example, the D looked like it was showing signs of improvement early this year. The Fresno State game was a good example, but the D played well against SE Louisiana and UC Davis too. Since then, it's been one shitty performance after another. One game we show some improvement against the run, but give up huge yards in the air. The next game it's back to the same ol' where a team runs for miles. This is not a 2023 problem, it's been EVERY DAMN YEAR. Oncce we show film of an offense dicing us, we never adjust and just flail.

Montana has looked downright bad at times this year, but they seem to be getting better each week. They have injuries and issues just like us, but they overcome. One year we seemed to get better was 2018, and it took us all the way to the National Championship game. That's the last time we showed the ability to improve.
