IMO this is about a good an FCS schedule as we can possibly get. First two games at home against decent but very beatable competition in a 12 game season. 6 total home games.

8/29: vs. Monmouth @ Roos Field
9/7: vs. Drake @ Roos Field
9/14: @ SELA
9/21: @ Nevada
9/28: vs. Montana @ Roos Field
10/12: @ Sac State
10/19: vs. UC Davis @ Roos Field
10/26: @ Idaho
11/2: vs. MSU @ Roos Field
11/9: @ UNC
11/16: vs. ISU @ Roos Field
11/23: @ NAU

I see 6 or 7 games that we should be favored in.

And which 6 or 7 might those be? Without a major overhaul of the defense we'll be hard pressed to win more than 4 or 5 games on that schedule.

8/29: vs. Monmouth @ Roos Field (EWU)
9/7: vs. Drake @ Roos Field (EWU slight favorite at home)
9/14: @ SELA (advantage SELA)
9/21: @ Nevada (UNR)
9/28: vs. Montana @ Roos Field (Montana)
10/12: @ Sac State (Sac St)
10/19: vs. UC Davis @ Roos Field (Push)
10/26: @ Idaho (Idaho)
11/2: vs. MSU @ Roos Field (MSU)
11/9: @ UNC (EWU slight favorite against hapless UNC)
11/16: vs. ISU @ Roos Field (EWU slight favorite at home)
11/23: @ NAU (NAU)

I see 3-4 wins, potentially 5 if we can beat a UC Davis or NAU.

Dan Hawkins stepped down at UC Davis, they may regress a bit.

We should win the first two games at home even in a down year. Playing in LA during that time of year will be rough as our guys will not be conditioned to the humidity down there. So that's probably a loss unless we are demonstably more talented on both sides of the ball which was not the case when we played them this year.. I don't see us beating Nevada, Montana, Idaho, or MSU. The game at Sac State will be critical to the rest of the season because if we can go into the Davis game at 3-3 we could realistically finish 7-5 with a strong finish to the season.

It is a good schedule and in our better years one that we could probably get 8 or 9 wins from. We can't blame the money games for missed playoffs with a schedule like this.

Not gonna hunt for last time we had six home games...been many moons ..not very often. Dopa may like this schedule...I sure do. If minor miricle happens and we land a defense and some game changing experienced playmakers we could work some magic with this schedule.

Agreed. Coaches need to get to work.

Thanks for sharing. Best schedule Eastern has had in quite a while. Just as a fan, seeing 2 noncon's, Montana and Montana State at home is a treat, UC Davis is a bonus too. I don't know how many Eag's win but it is a great schedule.
