Hornets had 3 players drafted: Beardsley, Long, and Pollman. 5th straight year of having multiple draft picks.

Sucks to see Long and Pollman leave early, but congrats to them. Long had a down year, but I guess there will always be demand for a big lefty in the bigs. Pollman is a damn good defensive catcher and his cannon arm behind the plate will be tough to replace.
 
Did they actually confirm that they're leaving? Sometimes people are drafted and then decide to stick around school for awhile. That's particularly true in baseball....
