• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Reconstruction of east side at Weber State’s Stewart Stadium includes new look, fields, track

https://www.standard.net/sports/weber-state/2023/feb/03/reconstruction-of-east-side-at-weber-states-stewart-stadium-includes-new-look-fields-track/

It’s got to be said that Eastern Washington U is falling behind in regards to the football stadium. A large expansion would be great, but there’s nothing wrong with incremental upgrades. Roos Field looks great, but it would look so much better with an east side grandstand. It would looks even better with the track removed. Weber State has also begun a rebuild of its visitor side grandstand as well. It’s a modernization to an already nice FCS stadium. EWU needs to get something going.

Wonder what new EWU president, Shari McMahan, thinks when she drives by the stadium and see's that erector set visitor side and thinks that looks like a big time University we have here at EWU (prolly thinks look better if we take it all down and build a new Social Injustice Studies building with multiple "safe zones" and just eliminate Football.)
And recruiting a new Athletic Director hoping we get qualified applicants. They look at our athletic facilities and the most obvious thing anyone will see is the football field and erector set stands. They must thing this is a D1 University?...whoa a lot of work to be done. This rant never gets old.

The east side grandstand single-handedly holds EWU back in ways people can’t imagine. I’m 100% certain it holds us back in recruiting.
