A lot of savvy voters, like Sam Herder, have the Hornets in the 8-12 range. I would not be surprised if we see a huge drop if the Hornets get blown out this weekend.

Don't put too much stock in polls....coaches polls are NEVER filled out by coaches (they delegate that chore out as they don't have the time...besides, they would probably be the most biased towards their conferences if they filled out polls)...other polls are based on one man's opinion....some are stat based but no team plays exactly the same schedule so how fair is that....Polls are something for fans to look at.....in the end, seeding is based on a poll that not everyone agrees on anyway....it is what it is....I don't think there is an absolutely correct way to do a ranking poll....
