• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

2015 Volleyball

Hornets sweep past Portland State yesterday to move to 18-5 overall.

MUS at 1-7 in the Big Sky comes to Hornet Gym on Thursday night and then Montana comes to campus on Saturday for Homecoming with a 1 p.m. match up. The one 1-7 BSC Griz match will be at 1 p.m. followed by a 3 p.m. mems
soccer game on campus against UC Davis followed by the 6 p.m. football game against visiting Idaho State. The campus is going to be buzzing with sports all day and may all our Hornet teams roll to victory.

May the 2015 Sac State Homecoming be one to remember!!!

Best of luck to our outstanding volleyball team tomorrow night to kick off Homecoming Week at Sac State against Montana State. May our best team in 8 years continue to roll

And honored to be the only poster on this board for Sac State volleyball, a program that has been the most decorated sports program among all our programs in school history.

And a program that is already 10 wins above all the wins last year!!

Keep it rolling Sac State

Sac State is back .

Hornet Pride.

And Stingers Up!!

Homecoming Day for the Hornets and a perfect time to win number 20 on the season against the Griz of Montana . The Hornets took care of the other beloved Big Sky school from Montana easily two days ago in three easy sets.

Roll on Hornet!!!

1 p.m. start at the now 60 year old gym!!

Hornets sweep past the big bad Griz in 3 sets in front of 395 fans at the old Hornet Gym and win number 20
20 wins!~!!!!!!!! Nice to see this after so many , many years.

Congratulations to the players and coaches for winning 20 with 6 matches yet to go!!

The Hornet volleyball program continues to BE BACK

and time to win on the road at that far, far, far way Big Sky foe in North Dakota next Thursday and then at Portland State before coming back home to face off against the league leading ISU team.

Time to take care of business on the road with the possibility of hosting the Big Sky Tourney still in the mix .

Go Sac State.

Hornet Pride.

Stingers Up!!

Hornets go half way across the country to face a league opponent in North Dakota and defeat this school and hop on a plane and come back to the west coast and land in Portland where they defeat the Vikes easily in 3 sets on Halloween night.

Back home to face Weber State and Idaho State this coming week.

The 22-5 Hornets wrap up Big Sky play at home before facing NAU and SUU to finish the regular season on the road before the Big Sky Tourney which the Hornets will be in.

Hard to believe that our 22-5 Hornets are behind ISU and NAU in the Big Sky Standings. The Hornets will likely take down ISU at home next Saturday and NAU on the road but our Hornets need some help in order to host the Big Sky tourney.

Go Sac

Attendance of 125 at PSU tonight against our Hornets. That has to be an all time low in attendance.

So sad.

Very bad.

BUT, I see that over 11,000 fans showed up for the PSU football victory over the big bad Griz of Montana who think the Big Sky Conference is beneath them. and they want to move up. Good for PSU to roll over the Griz and good for them at PSU to have a crowd that was over 11,000/ Have not seen that for PSU in many , many years. PSU normally averages about 5 to 6K. Nice to see that things are changing for them. Always nice to see improvement in attendance at all Big Sky schools. It is time

And back to Sac State volleyball.

Hope to see Hornet Gym sold out for our best voleyball team in 8 years!!!

Time to pack the 60 year old Hornet Gym coming up this coming weekend against WSU and ISU

good job indeed by the Sac State soccer team with the best season in five years and the entire team returning next year.

Tonight the Hornet volleyball team completed a perfect season at home against Big Sky teams winning easily in 3 sets over Idaho State and moving to 24-5 overall.

Amazingly a 24-5 record will likely not get them a chance to host the Big Sky Volleyball Tourney as NAu remains ahead of the Hornets with 2 Big Sky matches left. But there is still a chance as the Hornets have been the only Big Sky team to defeat the Jacks and Sac State goes to elevation in Flagstaff next Thursday. A chance for them to beat the Jacks again and get used to playing there if that is where the Big Sky tourney will be.

Congratulations to the Hornets for an undefeated Big Sky season at home and then some. 24-5 is amazing and the predicted pre season 10th place Hornets are BACK!!!

The NAU-Sacramento State volleyball match on Thursday is Fox Sports AZ Plus and Fox Sports Pacific as well as Big Sky TV.

Both teams are playing great. Should be a good one.

Regular season is in the books and Sac State breezes past SUU in Cedar City in 3 sets tonight.

Hornets finish at 12-4 and 25-6 overall. Only teams we have not beaten in the Big Sky are EWU and Idaho, both with much worse records in the big Sky and overall.

Best season in 7 years by far and 3 times better than last year.

The Hornet volleyball program continues to be BACK!!

Time to go back to Flagstaff and make some noise in the Big Sky Tourney.

The Hornets can win the tourney. No doubt about it!!

Sac State Pride.

Stingers up.

Sounds like we'll at least have a shot at an at-large if we blow it in the BSCT. Probably have to get at least to the semis or the finals to lock that in, though.

In any event, great job, ladies!

Volta named BSC COTY. Well deserved after posting a good season following the worst one in Hornet history. Hopefully the Hornets make some noise in the BSCT.

Congrats to Coach V. Well deserved.

Enormous turn around from 3-13 last year to 12-4 this year in the Big Sky and 25-6 overall and a 72nd RPI ranking in the NCAA compared to 280 last year.

Hornet volleyball is BACK huge

Best of luck in the Big Sky Tourney in high altitude in Flagstaff. Hornets will certainly be looking to win it all and head back to the NCAA tourney where the program has been many, many times . Sac State can do it!!

And congratulations to the players who received Big Sky honors today.

Sac State Pride

Stingers Up!!

Hornets go down to NAU in the Big Sky Tourney.

Sac State was the only team to get past the Lumberjacks this year.

26-7 in 2015.

Amazing year and lots to look forward to next year.
