When he played against the Griz you could see that raw talent he has. The big question is, does Sac have the coaching & Oline to get him to the next level? He had a great freshman season (rushed for about 850 yards), but has been injury prone. He was hurt early his sophomore year, and I believe the NCAA has allowed him an extra "hardship" year. He ran for 500 yards his junior year, but he wasn't the premier back. If nothing else, it hopefully gives the Bengals some depth at the position. You may not have heard of him but he is a beast, many ISU fans are actually somewhat pleased to have him running the ball instead of Barnett. Knickrehm is a Junior, 5-11, 220. 2005: Redshirted. 2006: Played mostly special teams. Knickrehm was named ISU's Special Teams Player of the Year and was also Second Team All-Big Sky for special teams. Also rushed for 67 yards and returned kickoffs. 2007: Had 51 rushes for 260 (5.1 ypc) yards and 4 touchdowns. Now you know.
